Diane is an accomplished plein air painter who has been leading our MyArts group in preparing for an opening show in January 2023. Mariah is our CC Art Club right-hand woman who guides all groups with an uncanny wisdom for a senior in high school who is about to graduate with an associates degree earned through the MMSD-MATC Stem program.

Grace Ruo

Grace is an award-winning spoken word poet from St. Louis attending the UW First Wave program.

Ali Beyer

Ali is a gender queer artist who lead the MyArts cohort throughout the 21-22 school semester with a gentle and creative hand.

Liu has lead a number of our CC Art Express cohorts in murals that focus on creative self expression.

Alexis Dean

Alexis is a hip-hop educator who brought his love of life, learning and sharing to the Odyssey Junior, spring cohort.

Elmore Lawson

Elmore is a joyful leader who has lead sessions in drumming allowing the kids to follow his lead or take drumming in their own direction.

Terrence has lead a number of cohorts through exercises in self expression and print-making.

Anwar Floyd Pruitt

Anwar bravely took on our Art Express program via Zoom throughout the 2020-2021 pandemic years. He developed projects to both kids at various sites and kids participating from home, leading to remarkable work by dozens of kids who watched him on a screen. After we had access to a vaccination, Anwar was able to lead kids on-site. Huge kudos to Anwar for carrying us through Covid 19 isolation.

Sapphina Roller

Sapphina started with CC Art Express during its first year, taking the creative lead in large painting projects until she left for Rhode Island School for the Arts. She later returned to work with the kids via Zoom.
